The main component of ProPlex creates strong connections between disulfide bonds on the hair. Disulfide bandages are weakened or broken during eyelash and eyebrow treatment (lifting and coloring). To prevent this, a new ProPlex has been developed to protect and repair the disulfide bonding of eyelashes and eyebrows during the procedure. ProPlex also connects sulfur bridges.
